I ended up reading it all and found Oathbound was better and the cast expands more.
I 100% agree. The lack of black men bothered me…not sure i will read the rest of the series.
I just added Assembly by Natasha Brown to my basket to buy later, sounds like an interesting one 🤗

I did read the second one over a year later but I didn’t get on with it.
